The
Souljah, a.k.a. Jason Wright,
is one of the new, up and coming producers of hip hop and
R&B out of the Midwest. Alive with street buzz, he has
been producing tracks for such rap groups as Mentally
Disturbed out of Detroit, MI; Renaissance
II, and The Royal Family out of
his hometown of Ann Arbor, MI; and Savior
out of Sacramento, CA.
Souljah
founded his production company called “One21
Productions” in Ypsilanti, MI. Born in Ann
Arbor, MI he was exposed to many genres of music. From rap
and R&B to heavy metal and country music, these genres
helped influence his style of music production. Jason Wright
chose the name Souljah for his belief in God, and the idea
that everyone is fighting an inner battle for his/her
soul. This premise has been his approach to his
music-to make the listener feel like he is experiencing
something dark and bright, good and evil: The “One21
Sound”. Souljah is seeking management
to expand his talent to the world!
